Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 11, 2026

OneClickTool ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website https://oneclicktool.app (the "Service"). This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, your choices, and how we work with third-party advertising partners such as Google AdSense.

1. Our Privacy Commitment

OneClickTool is built with privacy at its core. The vast majority of our 200+ tools — including word counters, JSON formatters, image converters, QR generators, and password tools — process data entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript. Text you type, files you upload, and images you process never leave your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information, limited to the following categories:

  • Usage data (anonymous): page views, referrer URLs, browser type, device type, screen resolution, country/region, and time on page — collected by Google Analytics 4.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small data files stored on your device for analytics, advertising personalization, and preference storage (such as your theme choice).
  • Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. Logs are retained for a short window and not linked to any personal identifier.
  • Voluntary submissions: if you contact us via email, the contact form, or the tool-request form, we receive whatever information you choose to send.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit the content you process inside our tools. Text, code, images, documents, and files stay in your browser's memory. We do not require accounts, and we do not maintain a user database.

4. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To understand which tools and pages are popular so we can prioritize improvements.
  • To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
  • To display and measure advertising shown through Google AdSense.
  • To respond to your support requests, feedback, and tool suggestions.

5. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device. We — and our partners — use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: required for core functionality such as remembering your dark/light theme preference. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: set by Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and content performance in aggregate. IP addresses are anonymized.
  • Advertising cookies: set by Google AdSense and its partners to serve and measure ads, including the DoubleClick DART cookie used to display personalized ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, by visiting Google Ads Settings, or by opting out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info.

6. Google AdSense and Third-Party Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Service. Google AdSense is an advertising service operated by Google LLC. As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads to our users based on their prior visits to our website and other sites on the internet.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You may also opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
  • For more information about how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps, see Google's Privacy & Terms.

Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on the Service. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy policies.

7. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visitor behavior. Google Analytics collects standard log information and visitor behavior in an anonymized form. You may opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. AI-Powered Tools

A small number of tools labeled "AI-Powered" send your input to AI providers (such as Anthropic, Google Gemini, or OpenAI) for processing. These tools are clearly marked. We do not retain the input or output. Refer to the relevant provider's privacy policy for details: Anthropic, Google, OpenAI.

9. Your Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. To exercise these rights, email privacy@oneclicktool.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Your Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise your rights, email privacy@oneclicktool.app.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.

12. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Server logs are retained for a short operational window. Voluntary email correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to respond to your request.

13. International Transfers

The Service is hosted globally on Vercel's edge network and uses Google's services, which means data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

14. Security

We use HTTPS site-wide, modern hosting infrastructure, and minimize data collection by design. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

16. Contact Us

For privacy questions, data requests, or concerns, contact us at privacy@oneclicktool.app or via our Contact page.
