CRS Score Calculator
Frequently Asked Questions
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a points-based system used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to rank Express Entry candidates. Scores are out of 1,200 points, with higher scores having a better chance of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.
This calculator follows the official IRCC scoring formula and is regularly updated. However, always verify your score with a certified immigration consultant or lawyer before making decisions.
CRS cutoff scores vary with each draw. In recent draws (2025β2026), scores have ranged from 470β530 for No Job Offer draws and are lower for PNP-specific draws. Provincial nominations add 600 points automatically.
Key ways to boost your CRS score: improve IELTS/CELPIP language scores (especially in all 4 bands), gain more Canadian work experience, obtain a provincial nomination (+600 pts), or get a valid job offer from a Canadian employer.
